This is a small transmitter-receiver that can reach 1.75 miles line of site.
I have had this set
up at 1/4 mile away and received the signal when it was going through 6 building's.
This is a 10 channel receiver.
What does that mean?? You can have 4 of these transmitter receiver systems and hook
it up to the quad monitor.
You will be able to see 4 different units in 4 different barns or bins! Lets say
you are calving and you have two
pens involved. Set one system up in each pen and watch it from home. Now it all
depends on the amount of structure you have
to go through but this should work in most farm operations. If you are in a building
and are 500 feet away this should
work great. This system for the price comes with the transmitter and the receiver.
Also included are two ac/dc converters
to power these two devices. It comes with all the power cords and equipment needed to hook
up to your camera
and monitor. This system works very well with my wired monitors and cameras.
You take the output of the camera and hook that to
the transmitter the transmitter then sends the signal to the receiver which in turn sends the signal
to the monitor. All the cables are included for this system to connect to my equipment.
1. Look at the uses.
2. watch the barn calving season.
3. watching gagues in the house
4. two dryer location one set of monitors
5. security for the farm or out bldg.
6. watch the dryer operation from the house
The transmitter is small but it gets very hot. It has air fins on it to cool
the device down just like an air
cooled engine. It has to be in the open and not sealed away.
The reason it gets so hot is because
of the power it is generating to produce the signal.
